Thriving Beyond Limits: My OneAdvanced Journey

My journey at OneAdvanced began on the Shared Service Desk, where I supported a range of ITO customers, each with their own unique systems, processes, and workflows. This provided a fantastic opportunity to build my understanding of case handling, ServiceNow procedures, and client interaction.
Through this role, I developed a strong foundation in adaptability, time management, and stakeholder communication. I also had the chance to work with technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Cloud AD, which sparked my interest in infrastructure and cloud services. With every experience, I’ve grown more confident in both my technical and interpersonal capabilities.
Continuous learning is a key part of life at OneAdvanced. From day one, I had access to an incredible range of resources—from detailed runbooks and structured onboarding to dynamic courses on Skills Hub (our in-hours on demand content platform).
When I moved into my current role as a 24x7 Analyst, the scope of my work expanded significantly. Thanks to the support of my colleagues and leaders, I was able to transition smoothly, taking on new responsibilities with confidence. Whether it's managing incidents, monitoring systems, or contributing to projects, I’ve been encouraged to learn through doing—and to grow with purpose.
Transitioning into a more technical role has been a rewarding experience. I have embraced responsibilities such as patch management, infrastructure monitoring, SLA reporting, and critical issue handling for a diverse set of clients. Each task has given me the opportunity to deepen my expertise and contribute meaningfully to business outcomes.
A key driver in this journey has been curiosity. I approach every challenge as a chance to learn something new—whether it's understanding a tool, supporting a stakeholder, or improving a workflow. That curiosity has been met with encouragement and collaboration across teams, making the learning journey incredibly fulfilling.
OneAdvanced is a place where collaboration comes naturally. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside teammates who are always willing to support and share knowledge—whether it’s building a server snapshot, solving infrastructure alerts, or managing customer needs.

As someone who moved to the UK from India, the sense of belonging I’ve experienced at OneAdvanced has been truly heartening. This is a workplace where inclusivity is genuine, where diversity is respected, and where everyone’s voice matters.

Through regular one-on-one sessions, I’ve had the chance to reflect, grow, and align my goals with wider business objectives. Receiving the Rising Star Award has been one of the proudest moments of my career. Coming from a small town in India, completing my higher education in the UK, and now being recognised by OneAdvanced—it's a journey that has filled me with gratitude and motivation.
This award reflects dedication, consistency, and willingness to learn and support others. It acknowledges the value of clear communication, collaborative spirit, and continuous development. It also reminds me that growth is a journey best travelled with humility, curiosity, and commitment.
Empowering a Better Future
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is knowing that the work we do directly supports organisations that are shaping a better world. Whether it's enabling public services or strengthening private institutions, our contributions extend far beyond the screen.
I’ve had the opportunity to support customers across sectors—from waste management companies making our communities cleaner, to solicitor firms like Foot Anstey and Irwin Mitchell that drive justice and access to legal support. Enabling their IT means supporting their mission.
Working with the NHS and St Andrew’s Healthcare has been particularly meaningful. Knowing that the infrastructure we support helps frontline staff deliver care and save lives is a powerful motivator. Even in logistics—supporting customers like National Highways—our work ensures that people and their loved ones reach home safely.
